U.S.A.A.F. Combat Cargo Groups of the Second World War

4th Combat Cargo Group, 15th Combat Cargo Squadron

Fun on the Irrawaddy New 3/24/2000
The two above stories are from  'Bedtime Stories' Adapted by Joe Minton, From his memories of the old war stories of the 15th Combat Cargo Squadron Heroes.    All good stories start of with the old "Once upon a time"; usually these are just fairy tales.  My stories about the Squadron start off that way and as I grow older the more I realize that the fog count increases and The veracity decreases!  Oh well, they make"great" bedtime stories for gullible grandchildren after they've been some what cleaned up (stories that is).

I am looking for former members of the 3rd Combat Cargo Group,  1st, Combat Cargo Group, 2nd Combat Cargo Group and the 4th Combat Cargo Group.  In fact I would like to hear from anyone who flew over the Hump during WW II, or flew any Combat Cargo Missions at any time (Berlin Air-Lift, Korea, etc.)

Please e-mail comment, suggestions, corrections,etc to: bill@comcar.org
